Hinata looked over at Sasuke with a hint of fear in her eyes. For  amoment she had no clue as to what was going on. 'Was it a dream?' She asked puzzling her brain to the point where it hurt. The man's face was simply sketched into no emotion at all. "What the hell are you doing here!?" She suddenly snapped, sounding extremly angry. Hinata had no clue what came over her, but it was enough to leave her stutterences out of her voice. The boy's eyes crawled over to look at her face with a swift smirk. "You don't remember do you? You passed out after...Well, we kissed." He explained trying not to sound as if he just came onto her so suddenly. She had to fight back the blush before she finally opened her mouth. "I-I...What? We, we, we, kissed?" She quickly asked, her fumbling of words rolled off her tounge sloppily, her face growing more red by the given second. "I guess. It sort of just happened." He told her closing his eyes, remembering the lips crash upon his. "Look, I know this is really sudden. Especially since Naruto..." Sasuke began just as another figure walked in the room. It was no one else rather than Kiba and Akamaru. 'Damn it!' Hinata shouted in her head. She had known the only thing Sasuke was about to say, and she really wanted him to. The fact was Hinata had began liking Sasuke ever since here. He seemed so different, like he didn't care about the weasel Itachi. Perhaps he had totally forgotten about it, and wanted to move on in his life?

"Um, I'll just go. Kiba probably wants to talk to you anyway." Sasuke said with a small groan as he rolled off of the bed and onto his feet. "I'll talk to you later, Hinata." Sasuke waved off before exiting the room, quickly throwing himself onto the wall next to her door. He just had to know what Kiba wanted, afterall Sasuke was just about to ask Hinata to be his girlfriend and Kiba just had to walk in and ruin it. "Damn bastard." Sasuke mumbled as he eased his ear aginast the now closed door to eavesdrop on the conversation between the two.

"Sorry I interupted, Hinata." Kiba started. His head was haning low, as if a girl were about to tell her mother she had failed some exam. "It's okay. What is it?" Hinata asked knowing she was rather pissed by his sudden outbursts. "I love you." The words flashed by her like a tornado as they flew out of Kiba's mouth. Hinata looked at him with wide eyes, and a dropped mouth. She had just been thrown into something she didn't want to be in. 'Oh..." Was the only word spoken through her soft lips. "Look, I know this is really sudden. And you really don't need to return the favor. It's just Akamaru made me, he threatened to bite...Well, a private area." The dog boy joked. It was quite obvious this boy would be the one to add a few jokes into the conversation when things felt so awkward and so tense. 'This isn't fair. How come every fucking guy has to like me? I mean seriously. Naruto decided he liked me, Sasuke just admitted it, and was going to ask me out. The last thing I ever needed was to know Kiba liked me too! What am I supossed to do? It's not even close to being my nature to just rub off the boy like he was dirt on a shoe. I need help now...' Hinata thought, without realizing she was pale as a ghost.

Meanwhile, Sasuke was on the floor, his face cupped up in his hands. This was the first time in a while he had felt rejected. 'Could Kiba really love her? Who is she going to choose? I mean, she looked interested in me, and she even blushed, and not to forget we kissed. It was weird, and I loved it. The feeling inside me is so awkward. I need help...' Sasuke thought.

'What's taking her so long to answer? Does she love me or not!? I really thought she did. I helped her through everything, I've always been here. It wouldn't be fair if she said no. She needs to get over herself, and just come crawling to me. I deserve it. No one else. They weren't there until now, I deserve her heart one hundred and one percent.' Kiba thought growling impatient with the lack of words coming from the face of the terribly shy Hinata. "Kiba...Leave." Two words. Only two words came from her mouth. Her face sort of spoke for her. All she wanted was time alone, or even a girl friend to talk to. It wasn't like she was totally anti-social. She needed someone, she wanted someone. A friend.

---x At The Ramen Shop

Her pink hair glistened in the soft ray of sunshine, as she sat at a small counter. Only a curtain behind her protecting the pale skin from such heat. It was strange for her to come here, she never liked ramen. She guessed it was just the thoughts of Naruto always bugging her to come sit and eat a bowl with him. "Naruto..." She mumbled, tears began to stream down her face with paces that could run a marathon. A soft touch on the shoulder made her quickly look up. Her emerald green eyes caught a hold of deep bwon chocolate eyes. "It's going to be okay." He said as the boy sat down next to her. A puzzled look engulfed her depressed face as the brown eyed ninja sat beside her. "Shikamaru?" She asked wondering why such a lazy boy like him would be here. "I saw you come here. A lot of the ninjas have been coming here for the past few days. I guess Naruto really did have more effect on people rather than only the lonely Hinata." He explained, being careful not to turn to her in such a rushful manner. "Are you alright, Sakura?" Shikamaru asked with a warmed smile smothered on his face. The girl looked at him as if he were the only human being alive. "Yeah, I'll be okay. Thanks." She quickly said before she stood and walked out of the tiny shop. The male ninja placed a few dollars on the counter to the old man and walked off to catch up with Sakura. "Hey. I wasn't done. You're so stubborn." He told her as he walked alongside her. "Me stubborn? You're pointing your thoughts on the wrong ninja. Go look in the mirror." She said, as the miserable frown turned itself around into a slight grin. "Hm." Shikamaru retorted placing his hands into his pockets. "So, since you already ate, how about we go for a walk in the park? It'll sooth your thoughts of Naruto." The boy offered returning her small grin with the same glance. The female ninja nodded and the pair walked off into the park.

Sakura let the scent of wild flowers fill her nose as she walked down the dirt path with Shikamaru at her side. Never had she been alone with him in her life, she felt protecting seem to sink into her heart. Shikamaru was known none other as a very smart ninja. She too, was smart, just he was better at the puzzles of fighting. A much better strategy than healing. Well, that was in her own opinion. "Why are you doing this?" Sakura asked as the pair walked over to the end of a small pond. Sakura sat down near the water, while Shikamaru leaned against a tree his eyes closed peacefully. "I have two reasons. One, you were sad. You needed some cheering up. Two, I shall not speak of." He bragged with a soft smirk, the one that looks a lot like Sasuke's. Emerald eyes glanced at the water's surface as she recieved the answers. "I love you too..."
I had to add ShikaxSaku. They are one of my new favorite pairings. There's a cliff hanger for both stories. One for Hinata's. And just a small one for Sakura's short little story. ^^

--I don't own any of the characters.
